QUESTIONS
MANY ASK
WHY WE DO THIS... ISN’T IT
SAD?
On the contrary, it is very uplifting to know lives
can be touched by doing such a simple and humble
thing as sewing our "Threads of Love". We seldom see
the babies or their parents, but often receive their
heartfelt thank you notes.
WHAT DO YOU DO?
Once a month we get together to cut, sew, iron,
attach labels, and package the items we make. Some
make daygowns and burial gowns, some make knitted or
crocheted hats, and some make little dolls, called
“Lovie Dolls”, that are placed in the isolettes with
the babies.
HOW CAN I HELP?
Everyone is welcome to be part of this ministry.
There are several ways to be involved:
-
Pray for the ministry and for
the families we are seeking to serve. At the
time we make a tiny garment, the recipient is
unaware of the medical crisis that awaits them.
-
Come join us at the workshops,
or work at home, to make the little gowns and
hats. Whether or not you sew, we can use your
help.
-
The Threads of Love ministry is
supported only through donations. A gift in any
amount is much appreciated.
